weeks in Rome this summer,
taking a course in archaeology
at the American Academy in
Rome.
Drew Collins
visited me
for a long weekend, and we had
a blast exploring the Eternal
City’s many hidden gelato
shops. I hope to return to Rome
next summer for more of la
dolce vita, with some classics-
related learning and teaching on
the side.

a year late, my husband, John,
and I are delighted to announce
the birth of our son, James
Loren Rose, on September 14,
2011. We’re living in Princeton,
where John is a third-year Ph.D.
student at Princeton Seminary
and from where I launch every
morning to my job as a trusts
and estates lawyer in New York.
We were so sorry to havemissed
you all at the 10th, and trust that
James will have a slightly more
favorable attitude towards long
car trips by 2017!”

daughter, Elizabeth Blair Scrib-
ner, into the world on April 5,
2012. The happy family resides
in Birmingham, Alabama,
where Charles runs Black War-
rior Riverkeeper and Elizabeth
pursues a Ph.D. inmathematics
at UAB.

la Critique at the 2012 Cannes
Film Festival. I will be attending
USC Gould Law School in the
fall to study the legal aspects of
the film industry.”

Johnson, was born March 25,
2012, at 7 lbs., 7 oz., and 20
inches. We (my husband, Dave,
and I) are loving parenthood!”

the birth of their daughter, Ten-
nyson Norah Whyte, on Febru-
ary 17, 2012. She weighed 6 lbs.,
10 oz., and joins an older broth-
er, Langston. Michelle teaches
environmental science at Brew-
ster Academy and Shamar
teaches English.

Carr and I got married in
Charleston, S.C., in August
2011. We live in New York City,
where I’m halfway through my
master’s in clinical nutrition at
NYU. Including the clinical rota-
tion in a hospital, I’m hoping to
be finished with the degree and
practicing as a dietitian in 2014!”

Kristen Deane ’02 married Douglas Campbell on July 9, 2011, in

Kendall Spradley Moore ’02 was married on July 23, 2011, in
Fort Worth, Texas, and is pictured with her 2002 formmates and
bridesmaids (l. to r.): Jackie Zider, Katie Fleishman, Ashley Dunn,
and Amelia Sanchez-Moran. Other Paulies in attendance included
Will Dunn ’02 and Etta Meyer ’02.
